Elan Air Charter will meet customer needs for support with airport operations such as passenger charter, safe delivery of a commercial cargo flight, or arranging for a special charter, such as a VIP or ambulance flight. The company launched the new division at Dubai Air Show 2017, where EAG is marking its 10th anniversary.
Elan Air Charter aims to become a market leader for air charter services, including aircraft brokerage, charter management and concierge services in the Middle East, with the ability to anticipate and respond quickly to changing travel plans and situations, and deliver safe, reliable and positive flying experiences for clients. Elan’s new team is already experienced in the air charter sector.
Elan Air Charter’s principal manager, Shafiq Derkeshly, holds a BSc in Air Transport Management from Emirates Aviation University and was one of the founding members of Empire Aviation Group, managing the Operation, Security, and Charter divisions.
Commenting on the launch of Elan Air Charter, Paras P. Dhamecha, Managing Director or Empire Aviation Group, said: “Our experience over the last 10 years has convinced us that there is a demand for specialist air charter services in the region and we have been able to establish Elan as a new division of EAG to meet this need. Elan Air Charter will meet the same high standards of customer service as EAG and represents a new business concept providing elite turn-key management solutions to VIP clients.”
